It is once again that time of year to participate in Subaru’s “Share the Love Event”.  Through Meals on Wheels America, the Subaru Share the Love Event has helped deliver more than 2.3 million meals to America’s seniors since its inception in 2008.

Subaru and its retailers support Meals on Wheels because it’s part of their commitment—to leave the world a better place than they found it through the core values of trust and love.

When you purchase or lease a new Subaru from November 16, 2023, through January 2, 2024, you can select Meals on Wheels as the recipient of a $250 donation, which will directly benefit Middletown, Cobb and Hidden Valley Lake Meals on Wheels programs.  Last year’s event brought $7,900 of unrestricted revenue to the center.

In addition to Subaru’s car sales, the Middletown Senior Center will be holding a SHARE THE LOVE EVENT on December 15, 2023, at the Middletown Senior Center.  You can participate by donating all things Warm & Cozy...Slippers, Robes, Blankets, Socks, Scarfs, etc.  You can drop them off any time between 9 a.m. and 2 p.m. for our homebound seniors.

It takes an entire community and help from companies like Subaru of America, Inc., to help raise critical funds needed to support our local seniors.  Your help will be greatly appreciated.

Exciting news! For the 16th year running, the Meals on Wheels network is participating in External link opens in new tab or windowSubaru Share the Love Event. Over the past sixteen years, Subaru and its retailers have helped Meals on Wheels to deliver more than 2.5 million meals nationwide to seniors in need.

Why does Subaru support Meals on Wheels? Too many seniors are struggling to stay independent and healthy. One in four seniors lives alone in isolation and one in seven seniors might not know from where their next meal is coming. This is simply unacceptable, which is why The Middletown Senior Center provides the nutritious meals, friendly visits and safety checks to the seniors of Middletown, Hidden Valley and Cobb. This vital support keeps seniors in their own homes, where they want to be.

We’re incredibly grateful to Subaru and its Retailers for supporting our organization and the seniors we serve. With that in mind, we thought you might want to learn a little bit more about the Subaru External link opens in new tab or windowShare the Love Event.

HERE’S HOW IT WORKS

Through this event, as a member of Meals on Wheels America, The Middletown Senior Center will receive a share of the donation from Subaru vehicles sold at participating Subaru Retailers.

You might not be in the market to purchase a new car, but if you are, please look into the External link opens in new tab or windowSubaru Share the Love Event to learn more.
